Canus guest in the wonderful Rose Garden of San Giovanni Park in Trieste
We are delighted to have been invited to take part in this historic event, now in its 22nd edition. It is organized by Agricola Monte San Pantaleone and takes place in San Giovanni Park in Trieste, specifically in the Rose Garden, one of the largest in Europe. In May, it is a riot of color and plant life.
This place is important because it was here that Franco Basaglia led his campaign to close psychiatric hospitals and promote social integration, which led to Law 180.
But the Rose Garden is above all a place of beauty and culture. In May, writers, musicians, and winemakers meet the public here.
Our agronomist Simone Desabbata will tell you about our vineyards and our light-touch approach to winemaking, with a strong focus on environmental sensitivity.
And then there will be our wines, to be tasted in the splendid setting of the Rose Garden. Don’t miss it! Free admission.
