Section: Description and purpose

The company modernized its machinery fleet with financial support from the European Union - NextGenerationEU, as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), Mission 2 - Component 1 - Investment 2.3 “Innovation and mechanization in the agricultural and food sector”.

The aim of the project is to improve the efficiency of agricultural operations, reduce fuel consumption, and limit the environmental impact of farming activities by adopting next-generation machinery equipped with precision technologies.

• Reduction of atmospheric emissions through precision farming techniques
• Greater energy efficiency in agricultural operations
• Reduced nutrient dispersion
• Increased precision in fertilizer distribution

Section: Results achieved

• New machinery purchased: Flail mower with telemetry, brush cutter arm with telemetry kit, sucker remover, and mower with satellite guidance and telemetry kit
• Improved operational efficiency compared with previous equipment
• Reduced environmental impact
• More uniform distribution of nutrients targeted to actual crop requirements
